Yunnan Yanjin Old Town

The buildings in Yanjin Old Town are of two kinds: one on the water and one on the mountain. Exiting from the east building, you will directly end up on the rooftop of the west building.

Many people worry about floods or mudslides. Yes, there will be. Walking a short distance south, you will see a high-water mark for historic major floods. The highest one could submerge about three to four floors in the picture. Because of this, and the lack of vacant land, the county seat has long been relocated to the north, with a large new town developed on the gentle slope of the mountain to the west.
