High-tech Campus, Shenzhen

Early in the morning during the Labor Day holiday, I went up to the top of an office building near the science park to shoot the skyline of the science park.

Unfortunately, the walls were too high and I couldn’t see anything, so I had to fly a drone to do an aerial shoot.

I think this place is a very typical microcosm of Shenzhen: on one side are dense office and commercial buildings, and on the other is a vast golf course. It’s hard to understand what the intention was in planning a golf course in a place where every inch of land is so precious. In short, the wealth gap in Shenzhen is laid bare right in front of you like this.
