On the way back to Chengdu from Danba, stop and have a meal in Luding. Although Luding is part of Ganzi Prefecture, it is predominantly inhabited by Han Chinese. This is the last stop in Han territory before entering the Tibetan area, with the next stop being Kangding, which officially marks the entry into the Tibetan region.
