A spontaneous trip led me to choose the most inconspicuous county in Liangshan Prefecture: Meigu County.

Meigu is also the county with the highest proportion of Yi ethnic people in China, with 99% of the population being Yi.

The streets of the county town seem like they're from the 1990s, and people were curiously observing us as outsiders. After all, there are very few tourists here.。
