Lenghu Base No.4

Here is the base established earliest by the Petroleum Administration Bureau, hence the name. It is located north of No. 4 and 11 kilometers away from No. 4. This is the machinery, car repair, and automotive transportation base of the Petroleum Administration Bureau, initially built in the spring of 1956, and before 1958 it was also a tent city. After 1958, a batch of adobe structures was gradually built, and after the 1970s, a batch of brick and wood structures office and dormitory areas were constructed. In 1982, the office building of the machinery repair plant was built. The old base has two streets running east-west and north-south, with shops, banks, grain stations, post offices, and cinemas, covering an area of about 1.2 square kilometers.

At present, it is the location of Lenghu Town in Mangya City, and it is also the only place among many settlements in Lenghu that still has inhabitants today.
