Xiguan Mosque was originally built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty and was rebuilt during the Qing Dynasty. It was completely demolished during the Cultural Revolution. In 1990, it was reconstructed on the original site. However, the later construction of roads around the mosque created a sense of conflict.
