Kangding, also known as Dajianlu, is the first stop from Han Chinese areas into Tibetan regions.

The altitude is relatively high but doesn’t cause altitude sickness, and it is very cool in summer. However, the entire city is limited by its topography, with virtually no flat land. During the peak season, there are absolutely no parking spaces.
