It's impossible to miss Gurla Mandhata when passing by Lake Manasarovar. The massive mountain and the sacred Lake Manasarovar make for excellent photography subjects.

I first went to Giwu Monastery on the west side of Lake Manasarovar but did not get the perspective I wanted.

So I hurried to a small village called Langbona Monastery on the north shore of the lake, found a suitable spot, and started shooting.
