The Tacheng Uranium Mine 730 in Xinjiang

On the banks of the Baiyang River, there are ruins. This was once a uranium mine that provided raw materials for China's production of atomic bombs.

However, in those days, there was no protection for the workers. Many people became ill and were discarded as expendables.
